That should not affect that area. Try eating more yogurt and use a yeast cream to treat infection. Antibiotics can cause yeast so check with your doctor.

My toenail is flaky, has a textured, wavy feel to it and seems to be growing away from skin.
Apply Canesten, an antifungal cream. Then, consult your doctor about dosage on Sporanox, an antifungal pill.

I know it is icky, nasty and disgusting. Preferably a homeopathic solution, but any solution is better than none.
