Nail Lacquer Shown Effective for Toenail Fungus

Onychomycosis is a fungal infection of the nail. The nail can appear thick and yellow, cloudy or have a white patchy appearance. The fungus itself doesn’t cause pain, but pressure from shoes may cause discomfort when thickened. Fungus grows well in a moist, warm environment which means that athletes, individuals who wear closed toe shoes for long periods and those with excess perspiration are more susceptible to development. In a new study (funded by Dermik Laboratories), 55 patients with 289 toenails affected by fungus were randomly divided into two groups and treated with ciclopirox (Penlac® ) with debridement or debridement alone. After an average of 10 months of follow-up, the group treated with both ciclopirox and debridement had a 76% rate of mycological cure, a statistically significant improvement over those with debridement alone.

It’s the tenth day of applying my TOENAIL SOFTENING CREAM. Today a lot more of my ToeeNail softened. And a lot of the softened nail came off. It’s really progressing.

ToeNail Fungus Documentry Day 7
