Unfortunately, that is not quite possible. Even with the best medicines available from a doctor, it will still take a few months to get rid of the fungus.
The problem with toenail fungus (aka onychomycosis) is that the infection is deep within the toenail itself, so topical medications often fail. Also, yellow crusty nails are not ALWAYS toenail fungus – there are other causes of that appearance. Seeing a dr would confirm your diagnosis.
Nevertheless, some "home remedies" include vicks VapoRub on the toenail. (some people swear by this!) Also, you could try topical Lamisil (available over the counter). It’s important to trim your nail also. If you are female, you can apply toenail polish to help cover it up for the summer months.
In order to get the medications that have a decent chance of treating your nail fungus, you’ll need to see a dr for a nail scraping or clipping to confirm diagnosis & then they’ll provide you with a prescription. Oral Lamisil and Sporanox and topical Penlac are available with prescription only.
