Yellow Toenails

Are your toenails yellow, or starting to get a hint of yellow to them? There are a couple harmless conditions that can cause yellowing of the toenails, such as bacterial colonization for example.  The most likely cause of yellowing toenails or a brownish coloring, is a fungus infection. Most fungi when growing well produce colored pigments, and the toenails are a great host for fungus infections.

If you have yellow or brownish toenails, you should seek treatment quickly before it gets worse. There are a couple natural products that work well, such as the one on the banner above, or you could go to your doctor and he can prescribe you something. Many people are embarrassed, and choose to try other alternatives before going to a prescriptions medication. Many of the natural alternatives work well so it’s worth the try before wasting a doctors trip.

You may see just one toe that is discolored or it could be all of them. There is no set rule on how many of your toenails will be infected, but if you do not treat it there is a great chance that it will spread. It will usually start at the tip of the nail, and then work it’s way down to the root of the nail. It’s important to try to treat the infection before it reaches the root of your nail as it’s harder to get rid of once it reaches this area.

The product listed on the site works well to penetrate the nail, and will often work as well as prescription or over the counter anti- fungal topicals. Be sure to treat it immediately upon noticing the yellowing or browning of the nail as this will allow you to get rid of it much quicker, and also keep it from spreading.
